So my friend got the alice through the looking glass makeup pallete and i remember awhile ago that i really wanted it but now i really do want itt cause i reflected on how much i want it !!!!
I had top and bottom expanders taken off on the same day. To get them off, the dental assistant used a tool that looked sort of like pliers. She got a good grip on the expanders right next to the molar bands, and did a quick, sharp twist to crack the cement holding the bands on my teeth! :-o Then she removed the bands from the expanders, smoothed the edges down with a grinder, and pushed the bands back on my teeth with more cement. Needless to say it HURT, but the pain didn't last more than a second. The worst part was getting the bands put back on. Best of luck.
I had one of those on my top teeth and I have to say that it was the only thing that hurt when my braces went on. I almost cried seriously it was awful. I felt a sharp pain for a second when it(the pallet expander) came off, but after that it was all roses.Don't be scared just take a deep breath and you will be fine.
