I am working on a little project in my garage and I wanted to know if anyone knew of any Shape Memory Alloys that are actuated by electric current as opposed to heatI am pretty sure wires such as Nitinol are activated by heat and not current, If I'm wrong or you have advice, please shareAlso, how strong can Sma's beHow much weight could a wire lift if it were attached to a weight? Thanks in advance.
You will not get many or no answers on any topic to RE5 on this darn site -_- but i could help yaNot with gameplay but with some informationWhen you cross the bridge and the driver starts heading after you wait until he reaches the barrel on the right side of your screen, the one thats the closestThen when it hits him, you gotta move all the way to the right side of the bridge to avoid it from falling on top of you.
When the driver is about mid-bridge blow the exploding barrels that are right next to himIt should throw him off track.
I think u need to shoot the barrel and make it explode onto the truck.
Shape memory alloys can act by heat and currentThe transition from the martensite phase to the austenite phase is only dependent on temperatureThis phase transition causes the shape deformationThe yield strength of shape memory alloys is lower than that of conventional steel, but some compositions have a higher yield strength than plastic or aluminumThe yield stress for nitinol can reach 500 MPaA good examle is the SMA actuator which equips with the nitinol muscle wire.
