Question:

metal in microwave?

the ring that's left after you remove the main lid on these modern 'microwavable soup' bowls or cansaren't those still technically metal? how do they get by in the microwave?

Answer:

It is so awkward but you just have to laugh, I usually just ask them why they are following me or something to ease the awkwardness.
Lol i was wondering why you where asking about saying goodbye to someone yesterday :)))
How about the awkward moment where you were to meet someone and you see him from a distance and he sees you as you walk to them and you two just stare as you go to him
Technically your not supposed to put metal into a microwave overHowever, metal in a microwave will not guarantee a bad reactionMythbusters Season 1 Episode 4 tested metal objects in microwavesThe only metal that reacts was an aluminum foil ballLight sparks were seen as the electromagnetic waves moved back and forth between the layers of the aluminum foil Metal can indeed wreck a microwave ovenBut the danger is not from metal heating in the middle of the ovenThe biggest danger of metal in the microwave is that it can get close enough to arc against the wall of the oven and send electricity to the oven's magnetron, which will destroy it.
