Question:

Molex connector for antec 900 case fans?

antec 900 case fans have molex connectors- apparently they do not connect directly to the motherboard. I see two cables comming out of the psu that could connect to the fans, but IDK which one to use. One of the cables is labled P7 and the other is labled P11.

Answer:

Any standard power output connector from your PS will work fine If it fits in the plug then you won't have a problem. They make it easy for people that aren't computer wizards. P11 is not a molex connector it won't fit, neither is P7. Look for a plug than mirrors the one on your fan, will have 1 red, 2 black and 1 yellow cable running into it.
Its frustrating to assert.yet whilst your followers are purely 2-cord to the molex they have no sensor for the third cord administration lead so as that doesn't artworkthen in the event that they did have the third lead it could have contain the three prong plug so which you're able to plug it directly to the mummy boardadditionally the mummy board can purely take sensing from one fan so the 2nd could confuse the sign. greater helpful to have followers that have the ideal plugsthe rear fan will artwork with the adapterwhy not use the Antec followers that got here with the caseyou payed for them?
