Insulation would help a lot if you could install itYou say you own the house, so there's nothing to stop you from taking a weekend and installing insulation on the floor of the attic above your spaceThat would be a big helpPutting shades in your windows and keeping them down during the day would be a big helpThat reflects energy back out the windowEven better would be putting shades on the OUTside of the window, but there's limits to what we can wish for, aren't thereAdding awnings above windows achieves the same goalIt stops energy from entering your living spaceIf it never comes in, you don't have to deal with it at all Painting the roof white would be a big help, tooDon't use actual paint, make up a big batch of whitewash and go to itIt is shocking what a big difference this simple step can makeIt is proving very popular in certain extremely sunny climates like Florida and TexasI'm going to do it to my house this year, on the side of the house that is away from the streetDon't go looking for these harebrained, household item solutionsGo get real insulation and do a real job of installing it properlyTHAT will yield the best results, even the best results for the moneyThere's a reason why most folks don't use the household item solution, regardless of how cheap it is: it's crapDo the job right if you want it done, and then you won't mind how much it cost.
A POUND? I didn't think a bone in ham could weigh so little! One beer can weighs a poundYou really need to know the full weight of your ham before askingHams are all precooked, so it's not rocket scienceI like to baste mine with brown sugar and pineapple, but yours is already flavored.
1 lb? Amazingly smallPut it face down, toss a can of crushed pineapples on it and bake it for 20 minutes in 325F.
if you have a crockpot, i would put it in thereon low for a couple of hoursit shouldn't dry out in thereadd a bit of water, maybe a 1/4 to a 1/2 cup.
you should put it in a tray/bowl thingy then cover it in aluminum foil then put it in another tray filled with water to make it juicer and better tastingplus add in what ever flavoring u prefer, pineapples or herbs or soy sauce etcon ham p.s that' s a really small ham
