I have Super 6 Swiss bones bearings. I bought new rubber shields for them. I cleaned them with the bones cleaning unit and re lubed them but when i put the shields on they just wont move. They are called Non-contact rubber shields. it seems like for some reason they Are coming in contact with the bearing, what should i do?
Sounds like you bent the shields when you inserted them, or put them too far in. The shields should be flush with the edges of the bearings. This is assuming that the bearings spun without the shields. You did remember to not use water-based cleaners on the bearings?
Last time i couldn't put the bearing in the wheel i used a hammer to take out the bearing in to put it back in lol. Sorry if i didn't help you.
