Get an anchor as an add on, it fits under the rear bumper and is released mechanically.
Check the alarm ON/OFF toggle switch. If the toggle switch is on the ON position but the alarm is still not working meaning that your alarm wiring need to fix. To fix the wiring problem you need to hire the certified technician to do that.
did you check the alarm button on the keys to see if it needs a new battery? Also find the toggle switch that is usually under the dash or on the driver side kick panel then put the key in the ignition and turn to acc and flip the toggle switch and then check to see if it works.
