Question:

My car has been sitting for 8 days outside in the cold weather should i add a additive to the tank?

The tank has more then half in it and i always use 93 octane just wondering since its been sitting there in the cold should i throw in a bottle of heet or some fuel additive to get all the moisture and clean the system out or will that just clog things up even more?

Answer:

I wouldn't worry about it unless you have problems
8 days is nothing. Start it and drive safely. PS What kind of car? If your car doesn't require premium grade gas, you are wasting money.
Most gasoline companies already add a winter anti-moisture additive to their fuel, so it should not be necessary. At the same time that stuff is cheap and it won't hurt.
