Question:

My disabled mother is being bullied by the porter in the building she lives inI need advice?

My mother is wheelchair boundShe needs a home health attendent to help her with her daily activitesUnfortunately, some of the home health aides have stolen money, jewelry, food, clothing, linens and other items from her, even makeup I left in the room that I once lived itWhen she finds this out she will call the agency to let them know then they will send her a replacement.Usually when the replacement approaches the elevator to arrive, the porter will say quot;good look with that onequot; or quot;let's see how long that will lastquot; to the home health aide before they even meet my mother. This is aweful when my mother is an extremely loving and caring person, that always treats people kindly, with respect, and generousity (maybe this is why the home health aides feel so comfortable stealing.)When the porter makes these comments, they aides get a negative impressionI would like some advice on what should be doneHow can these comments stop? How could someone, (the porter) be so rude to someone he barely sees?

Answer:

I suggest the next new person who is going to work with your mom be met somewhere away from her house and you take her to meet your motherThis way you are in charge of the first impressionNext, the porter needs to be reported to whoever manages the buildingAnd the next person who steals from your mother needs to be reported to the police.
Your poop will feel of rich velvet within a couple of days.
