hi my hoist on my trcuk i need to rev out my engine to get it to move then its very slow and even slower when the box is full
Just a thought. You might want to check the hydraulic pump that pumps the fluid to the lift cylinder because it might need new gaskets, ot possibly one of the lines that carry the fluid could be leaking or clogged. Check around each connection for leaks because there might be a leak or seal going bad and allows air into the line thus causing it to raise slower than normal.
You probably dont have enough power. Try getting a more heavy duty alternator and larger battery.
sounds like it is low on hydraulic fluid,could also be hydraulic fluid filter dirty.
