I think you should keep burning something whenever you want them to come over and just stash the evidence. Who knows? Maybe one day you'll actually set your house on fire and they won't answer thinking it's another prank. 3
I advise you to ask Vwvortex. I own a 2000 Jetta that has the gas door lock. Its locked until you press the gas release button. Fingers, or a screwdriver won't open it unless you break it open. But I do know that the mk6 Jetta was cheapened out as they say. They now need a stick to hold up the front hood and gooseneck hinges for rear. So I'm not surprised they would not lock the gas door as well. But like I said ask vwvortex in the mk6 section.
