At least once a week one of them leaves something sitting on the burner that shouldn‘t be there. Our house is in danger of burning down because of all the **** they leave on the stove! My mom burned oven mitts, my dad melted the butter, and my sister left an empty pan on it with full heat! I don‘t see how they could be so blind and careless. They tell me to stop being a spaz when I tell them how careless they are. I don‘t want to loose all my stuff. How do I get them to stop being so blind to the danger?
Can a house be burned down because someone melted butter or left an empty pan on the stove?
i use fuel injection cleaner in my car. it helps to keep the injectors clean. i don,t use anything else.

don't worry about losing your stuff worry more about losing your life. you can get more stuff, but you can't get another life. maybe if you put reminder signs up that will help. it is surprising that all of them are so careless. it would seem like your parents would be getting after the ones that are being careless. that is odd!

Firstly make sure your smoke alarms are working, secondly show them pictures of the effects of fires started by carelessness in the kitchen. That should scare them into taking fire safety seriously. You should get a kitchen fire extinguisher and a fire blanket because even the most careful people can end up having to deal with a fire. A few months ago I had a chip pan fire and if it were not for my extinguisher I would likely be paying thousands for repairs and that is the best case scenario. Also, dont worry so much about losing your stuff, possessions can be replaced, lives can not. If there is a fire make sure everyone is out and then do not go back in, I once had to drag my idiot friend out of a burning building (caused by gas leak and explosion) after he went back in to retrieve his iPad. I had to risk my life to save that idiot and damn near got killed by the roof collapsing, not to mention I spend hours in hospital for smoke inhalation afterwards. Fire safety is not a joke and your family should know that. If you want to show them what I have said, It may give them an insight.
