It is a Frigidaire model.
Tell your husband to fix it.
Shut it off, look for a jammed piece - remove what you have in there let it thaw if you cant get to it. Usually that's what happens to mine, it wont allow the roller to go back up that crushes the ice.
Remove the ice bucket and dump the ice. Close the door and operate the dispenser to clear out any remaining ice. Put the bucket back.
The crusher is always turning. The way they work is there is a little flapper door on the bin that opens so the ice falls out missing the crusher. For some reason that flapper is not opening. First pull and clean the bin. The manual says you are supposed to dump the ice and clean it monthly. Many people never do. If that doesn't fix it there is something wrong with the soloniod in the back, or the electrical to it, that is supposed to lift the lever on the bin that opens the flapper. That will take more expertise to diagnose.
