I had a kitten and bought her toys and a cave bed and she got an infection and died, i just got a new kitten and i washed the old toys but didnt do anything with the bed, when i put the new kitten in the bed she hisses, is that normal? Should i wash the bed first?
Yes you might want to try washing the bed. Your new kitten is probably hissing because she smells your old kitten on the bed. But then again, if your old kitten had an infection and was lying in that bed, it might not be safe for your new kitten to sleep in! I would advise buying a new bed altogether but if not, definitely wash the old one first.
