I have an Fujitsu Siemens LCD color monitor B17-1 and when I always try to turn on the computer the monitor doesn't work. Sometimes the light turns orange then green, and it turns on but don't display anything, and then it turns off again, like a cycle. Does anybody knows whats the problem or the solution?
Is this your second monitor, if yes, make sure you tell the computer to connect to another your monitor, setting at display panel/properties or maybe Boot Error.
First try another monitor to double check your video adapter if its not that theres a good chance that either your inverter in the monitor is going out which is an easy fix or the lcd screen is shot in which its cheaper to by a new one
well there is a way to troubleshoot that. First find you another monitor and plug it on your computer or desktop to see if your video card is still working. If it work on other monitor then that mean your Siemens monitor is burn out. If it does the same thing that means your video card on your desktop is mess up. Once the monitor goes bad its too expensive to fix it. Either buy a new monitor or spend 200-300 dollar fixing it which is not worth it.
