Question:

My motherboard on my computer only has one IDE connector, not two. How to hook up three IDE devices?

I have two hard drives and a DVD/RW. The IDE cable I have in there now only has enough connectors to hook up two devices, do they sell IDE cables with enough connectors to hook up three devices? If so, where can I buy one? Circuit City? Best Buy?

Answer:

Fry's Electronics will have one of those. Check your local area.
Most motherboards have 2 Ide conecctors then the data cable has to have 2 conectors for 2 devices master and slave, this mean if you have the right data cable you can conecct 4 devices, that will be master1,slave1,master2,slave2 and those cables you can find it and any computer store.
