Question:

My motorcycles brake lights only come on when I use the rear brake. Is there a separate fuse for the front brakes? Thanks.?

2002 Yamaha fz1

Answer:

Probably only one fuse, but there's a pressure switch for the front hydraulic brake. Did the wires fall off? Do you understand the concept of looking for obvious problems?

Depends on the actual motorcycle make, model and especially year. Brake light switch not required for front brake lever until sometime early 1980s about same time the emissions standards and control standards were federally required for most motorcycles- and there were exceptions even then.
depends on the age of the Bike after 1986 they were Fitted to all new Bikes Like My BMW R 65 1987 Heavy Braking is Done by the Front Brake the rear only ensures the Rear wheel does Not Rey and Overtake the Front been Riding since about 1953
I would start by taking the threaded connections apart and putting pipe tape on the threads and tightening back every thing. This will stop that leak and the pipe tape is only 49 cents at a Home Depot or such store.
