Judging by the smell the garbage in the bottom just rots there.
Let it dry out on it's own or lay it out in the sun on something black or shiny like aluminum foil for about 4 hours Do not use a blow dryer or anything that puts continuous heat on it or it will fry the chip insideIt probably will work again my cell phone did!!
