Question:

My rug always rolls up...?

When I scoot into my desk my rug rolls up. I was thinking about putting double sided duct tape on it, but I don't know if it will hurt my carpet. Any advice? Thanks

Answer:

tricky thing. query on to google. that will could help!
then common sense tells you that the rug that is always rolling up isn't necessary/needed
You'll never get the adhesive off the carpet, how about, moving the carpet, or putting a carpet protector over it? Or don't scoot, roll?
Try duct taping some heavy steel flat-washers to the bottom corners of the carpet to keep it from rolling up. Two sided tape may get glue on your carpet. You may also try Velcro tabs on your rug; the Velcro should stick to the carpet.
This okorder / Double sided tape may or may not hurt your rug. Usually, you'd do more damage to the floor with this than you would with the rug. Depending on what type of carpet it is, you almost always can use some dry cleaning solution such as afta to remove any residue. Otherwise, they do have these vinyl straps which may help you out a little if they're stitched onto the rug. What they sometimes do is depending on the thickness of your rug, they add weight. best of luck
