My aunt used to take all our Saint Bernard's hair, after we gave him a good brushing, and weave it in to yarn, and then knit sweaters, when I was a kid.If you look in the back of Dog Fancy Dog World magazine in the classified section, there are ads, you can send them your dog's hair and they will weave it in to yarn and send it back to youNo, it does not harm the animal in any way, you just brush your dog which you need to do regularly anyway, right?
