Question:

My straightener is titanium and ceramic.?

Is that good? Better than just ceramic?

Answer:

Use a brass fitting. Do not use pvc. Dielectric unions are fine if accessable, but do not conceal inside of wall. Plumbing contractor 15 years
there are di-electric unions that you can get in the plumbing dept. of home depot that can connect the two metals without the corrosion problems you get by connecting them directly.
use a dielectric union this keeps the two metals seprated, buy at any hardware store.
ceramic or tourmaline ceramic seem to dominate the high-end straightener market, but there are some at the high-end that claim titanium improves the ionic effect. If get a good quality one then it probably doesn't a matter much.
