Question:

My toddler has a cold. I bought a Vick's Vaporizer, and it's setting off the fire alarm. Now what!?

I bought the Vick's Warm Steam Vaporizer under the advice of my son's doctor. When I turn it on, however, it sets off the fire alarm in the bedroom after about a half-hour. My step-father is a firefighter and has the entire house wired with fire alarms (which is a good thing!) but in this instance they're causing a problem How can I use the Vaporizer, which has done wonders for letting my little guy sleep through the night whilst sick, without setting off the darn fire alarm? Has anyone else had a problem like this? Perhaps if I used cool mist versus warm steam? (and if I do this, will it work as well as the steam?) I don't know what to do, my son is still nursing, and if he can't breathe, he can't nurse, thus adding moisture to the air to open up his sinuses when he's sick is imperative. Thanks for any advice.

Answer:

How about a water hose with infinite water?
i think. go to extras then clock or something like that.
1st gen ipod!? you might as well use a sundial! :P
yes they can. around 22 bucks for an older mustang,
Yes you can. I used to have an old Nano and i set the alarm on it all the time. Do this: 1. make sure that the Extras menu is visible from the main menu. If it isn't go under settings and main menu and put it on. 2. Go under extras in the main menu, and then under either alarms or clocks (can't remember which). 3. There should be an option to set alarm or something like that. Select it. Follow the steps and select a playlist to play (on-the-go will not work if it hasn't been synced to iTunes beforehand).
