im doing a lot of research on Natural hoof care and have been bare foot trimming my Toby for a year now. he is going great, he is more sound than he has ever been and is even gaining weight.but i knnow there is a lot of people out there that think its all crazy, im just looking for opinions here. its a peacefull descussion ;)

This could happen to anyone, so no one should be laughing. Was it the clicker (remote) or the wall unit that broke? Most openers will sit and flash lights at you if it's locked, not try to open the door. Does the wall unit still open the door? Perhaps just letting the landlord know the thing is broken with no further explanation would be best, since you may not be responsible. Tell him you tried to open it and all it would do is hum. A new opener could be expensive and the landlord can deduct it and the cost of having a repair man come to see what's wrong from his taxes.
