neck/back/knee/elbow protector? safety gear to get?

GETTING:1 helmet 2 jacket 3 gloves 4 boots 5. leather pantsprobably a back protector, any thoughtselbow protector? knee pads? back protector? knee brace? riding shorts?anything else i should get? I don't want too much gear, just want to be safe.

Answer:

This could be due to a bunch of things. The most likely is disturbed sediment in the pipes. If any part of your system has galvanized supply piping (many older homes do, especially hidden in walls) and your water is even moderately hard (i.e. mineral build-up) replacing pipes dislodges this stuff and it can get clogged up in an elbow. This will reduce your pressure. If you can locate the clog there are some sonic vibration tools that you apply to the outside of the pipe and it breaks up the minerals. Its the same kind of principle as lithotripsy (the procedure done on people to break up kidney stones). Unfortunately you are going to have to be patient and become a bit if a sleuth to suss this one out.
