Duh. Of course you will bottom out more evenly going over speed bumps. Of course you will have more issues with scraping your bumpers. Of course you will have less clearance inside your wheel wells. All things you must live with when you customize a car. Drive accordingly and you can most times live with it.
Hey Brande, There use to be a company Called Helmet Gear that made full face shields for bicycle helmets that came in different tints. I do not know if they are still in business. Last time I saw their product was on Bike Nashbar and they were almost giving the shields away on closeout. This was about two years ago. Good luck on your search. )
1.5 inches isn't a whole lot. But there are some nasty speed bumps out there so you will need to be a little more cautious. You should also change your springs and struts to ones that are meant for the new height. They will be stiffer and not allow the car to bottom out as easy.
