Question:

Need help with chair covers for wedding & reception!!!?

i have looked several place online and around the area and have not found a deal when it comes to chair covers. I want to cover the chairs for the ceremony site and the reception which will be around 230 chairs. any suggestions on where to go or an easy alternative? thanks!!!

Answer:

www.okorder / This one is good. Hope all of these help. Free shipping with the last one and is only 2.00 per chair cover and sash.
u need to call linene services in ur areas and get some prices, tell them what ur looking for, u sually white coverings are standard and inexpensive but get more expensive if u add bows and colors. i think you should consider decorating just the aisle seats, if their plain white than i w oudlnt even bother.
Have you looked into event planning companies...they usually have chair covers for weddings and other events.
If the chairs arent that ugly, leave them alone... or you could always decorate the chairs closest to the aisle at the ceremony and leave the other chairs. If you REALLY want them covered, check your reception site company. They've probably had someone else use chair covers before and might know where you should check. Also, in the yellowpages you can look under Rentals and check party rental places... I had to rent a couple things from a party rental place so I noticed that they had several types of chair covers avaiable for rent (I found these people in the yellow pages)...If you call one place and they dont have it, ask them if they know someone who does Also, if you cant get all 230 the same, try covering the chairs at your reception differently than at the ceremony... I dont think it would look tacky... Good luck! Congrats!
I agree with the answerer who said don't worry about it unless the chairs are really ugly. Seriously. It might not be what you want to hear, but unless they're cracked orange plastic with green polka dots, no one, and I mean NO ONE is going to notice that you went through a ridiculous amount of expense to cover the chairs. And if they DO notice, they're going to forget it within minutes anyway... Seriously. It's not really worth it, and you can invest that portion of your wedding budget into something like an upgrade to your photography package, or extra-special champagne for the bridal toast, or just flat out save the money!
