haven't put up barn yet which way should it face? what side for windows? insulation?should i have a ridge vent if there is no attic? or turbines? any ideas on design? have two skylightsits 20x34x18 tallthinking about catching water off the roof instead of a well and have an enviro let composting toilet, and looking for recycled materials where ever possible.
My dog chews on razor blades if I leave them in reachI guess to sharpen her teeth? No clue.
my beagle eats paper and aluminum foil too, it's probobly just a dog thing, get him a rawhide bone from walmart to keep him busy
Maybe when u leave u should hide all the shiny stuff and the tin foil is might work.
aluminium is used for cooking? food! shiny means food! make sure to put the foil either down farther or out out out away from his able to get to itUH cut back the food feedings, 3 times is too much unless you only give only 1 cup at a time.
You have not received many responses because the question is too bigYou are talking about water conservation using rainwater which should be researched separately from issues of home orientation Check your average rainfall and compare it to your estimated water usage to determine if this is practicalIn the Northern hemisphere south facing windows will allow more solar gainThey lose heat without movable insulation so northern facing windows should be minimizedLiving spaces produce a higher humidity in winterRidge vents are combined with eve vents to ventilate the space above insulation and below a roof to prevent humidity from condensing and wetting the interior ceilingA vapor barrier also helpsVentilation above insulation makes the insulation more effective in the summer.
