Okay well my grandpa's dog had puppies about a month agoWell he promised me the brown one I wanted and today I have to go pick it upI need a list of what to buy for him before I go pick him upPLEASE HELP! I HAVE NO IDEA.

Here is a list of things you will needTwo dishes the proper size for your pup a crate to properly train if it is very young (preferably 8-10 weeks minimum) a harness and leash At least three toys, one to cuddly, one to chew and one to chase(the puppy kong kit is great for that) A blanket that is puppy friendly(no loose strings/fibres) A book on training your pup the same food the pup is on already A good thing to do is bring a toy when you pick up your puppy let all the pups play with it and maybe rub it on the pup's momthe scent will help in the first night away from the familybe prepared to be up a various hours of the night to start proper potty trainingBeing 4 weeks old it is going to SCREAM!! at night and during the dayI would suggest picking the puppy up in about 3 weeksa four week old puppy without it's mom can cause bad behaviours as your pup gets olderthe puppy needs it's family to socialize it properlyat 4 weeks they are at that stage where they need to learn doggy etiquetteor at least the start of it.
