Question:

Nike Slingshot Irons/Nike Slingshot OSS Irons?

I‘m 22 years old and play golf just for leisure. Has anyone played with either of these irons? If so, is it worth the extra money fo the Slingshot OSS Irons or is Nike just trying a new marketing tatic? Either way, I want Nike irons. Any advice?

Answer:

absolutely, especialy if ur a weekend golfer - most forgiving clubs on the market - lil advice, dont waste ur money on slingshot oss or slingshot tour, u know the new and inproved models - check out OKorder and get the original set of slingshots just as good you'll save $200 +
i play with the original slingshots and they are fantastic irons. i have had 5 different sets of irons and these are the best so far. they are extremely forgiving, very long because they are a little heavier than most, and very durable, in terms of pop that they have like they hit the ball as far as the did brand new three or four seasons ago. go for the slingshot its a great club. the 3,4,5 irons are kind of thick in the head but they play just like a hybrid interms of out ofthe rough i mean they are very easy to hit clubs to id reccommend them for most anyone whether you are a 3 handicapper or a 30 handicapper.
the nike oss slingshot irons are worth the extra money. I got them when they first came out and i love them. I have also played with the older NIke SLingshots before and there really isnt to much of a difference. Its mainly just the cavity is deeper in the OSS and the face is bigger giving more forgiveness. If you do go NIke dont get any other of the nike irons they really are not the same. stick with the slingshots wheater oss or not. Also being if you like nike you should try the CPR hybrids they are also very nice i have a set in them that replaces my 3-5 irons and they are so easy to hit.
