The 2003 350Z seems to have transmission problems by many accounts. Has this problem been fixed in later years? If so what year, and is that transmission from that year swappable into a 2003?Or is there a fix for the 2003 transmission?
New triple cone 5th and 6th gear syncros were introduced in 2004. That was a service bulliten # NTB-91086. Nissan has not stepped up and replaced your transmission for free? Might be those two NOX bottles and supercharger keeping them from repairing your car? You did not state what your transmission is doing above bulliten is for downshift grind into 5 gear from 6th. And Nissan also replaces the clutch disk. AS an owner I would reccomend replacing the flywheel and pressure plate with something a little more high performance solid flywheel and stronger pressure plate. In 2007 the transmission changed again the clutch slave Cyl was moved inside the Bell Housing.
