I love the Montreal Steak marinade you can get in the herb/spice aisle at the grocery storeMix it with some oil and vinegar and marinade the steaks for 2-3 hrs - Delicious!!
To marinade steaks, use whatever is convieniant to you, you can you sealable plastic bags but I just tend to use my glass pyrex plate, cover the meat both sides and leave covered with clingfilm in the fridge.
Mate, it's not that hard, mix your marinade, let is sit for 10 minutes, obviously you have your Steaks defrosted and at room temp, combine both items in a Stainless Steel bowl, cover with aluminum foil, and place in the fridge for 20 minutesRemove and stand for 20 minutes before cookingSear for 2 minutes, turn, repeat, settle on low flame for 6 minutesBloody great Steak, Mate
