Question:

NVIDIA GPU PROBLEM DV9000 gpu cpu nb?

HP Pavilion DV9743CLCore2Duo T7250 2.0ghz 3mb cache 800mhz fsbGeforce Go 8600M GSJust wandering if I used 1mm copper shims on both gpu and cpu will there be a gap on the northbridge? just want to know before I buy them at Ebay and I read the guild but the shims are .5mm thin and a copper penny about 1.5mm on the northbridge.

Answer:

This question scares me what do you mean copper shims on gpu and cpu? There's a few legitimate uses for mini heat sinks but I don't see why you would need them in that set up. Please explain further!! Right sorry didn't notice it was a laptop. Wouldn't it be better to clean off the thermal pad and redo it properly? I don't think jamming in some copper will help your temperatures if the thermal pad is still there
i exploit a Phenom II X4 955 with a Nvidia GTS250 and that i presently don't have any problems with compatibility. If it really is a universal problem, i'm effective there'll be a restoration for this quickly.
