I'd put him on sugar beet (what you soak for 20 mins) race horse haylage, get some conditioning cubes tooPink powder is good aswellRotate the field, so split it up, let him eat down a section while another section is grown, then when thats eaten down, put him in the grown section etcPut the racehorse haylage in as wellAnd also stable him 3 times a week -he doesnt burn as much fay trying to keep warm and moving aroundHope this helps xx

We have several older horses that need weight or need their weight mantained when it starts to get cold A 50lb bag is less than $10.00 and it is a powder, you just mix it with their feedWe had an arabian mare that gained almost 50lbs in less than a monthIf we have horses that don't like that taste of the bran, then we add the beet pulpIt doesn't really do anything but makes things taste betterHope I helped!!
