whats the difference between the old omega seamaster professional quartz and the new automatic with blue thing you can twist ?? i know you cant buy the old one new anymore but i really want to know what the difference is thanks in advance

They should be able to either provide you with the service or direct you to an independent contractor who specializes in repair of quartz and stone countertops. If you happen to be in the Chicago area, add a note here and I will get you a couple of companies. This isn't the type of repair you want to take a try it and see how it works approach. Chances are, the burn mark is a surface stain since quartz tops are very heat resistant. They're 93% quartz crystal. (I sell countertops)
