Answer:

When the theory is equal to one, the first gear is just out of engagement and the latter is just engaged.When the overlap coefficient is greater than 1 and less than 2, the first gear is engaged and the latter gear is engaged.When the overlap factor is equal to 2, the first gear has just disengaged from the meshing, and the third gear has just entered the engagement state.It does not mean that two teeth are engaged when they are integersAs the engineering takes into account the license and assembly error of the gear, the overlap factor is usually 1.1-1.4
Less than one moment, when the first gear tooth is disengaged from the engagement, the rear gear does not engage in engagement, and the transmission is interrupted, thereby causing an impact on the gear teeth when re entering the meshing, thereby affecting the transmission stability.
Conditions of continuous transmission gear is equal to a large overlap coefficient, namely the actual meshing line of grain should be equal to or greater than the gear tooth pitch (joint).As long as more than equal to one, there must be a gear in the meshing state.
