Question:

Parentally speaking: Do you have a plan for evacuating every living being from your home in case of emergency?

This morning, around 5, I got up to pee, and was smacked in the face with the smell of gasolineI flipped on the lights in my room, yelled at my hubby quot;GAS! GET UP!quot; flipped on the lights in the kids' room and said, quot;GET UP! EMERGENCY! Throw on your shoes and grab a jacket and get on the porch.quot; Still had to pee, so I did and threw some clothes onHubby grabbed the puppies, and I grabbed their mom and dadWe got out of the house in under three minutes, even WITH me having to pee! LOLIt was NOTHING, thank GodWe're 5 houses down from a 7/11 plus gas station, and the tanker was filling up and one of the tanks overflowedWeirdly, just our family and our neighbor accross the street were THE ONLY ones to hurry out of the house. The kids got a McD's breakfast sammich each out of the deal.

Answer:

the more you think about the more you will freak out, bring things with u on board to keep u entertainedthere are also test flights people are aloud to pay so they can have a test flight before they actually travel its really not that scary once your 30 mins into the flight u will be fine and not even notice ur flying!
It's really not that scary, I promise! But if you're just scared of like, looking out the window, then sit in a middle seatYou can get over it by listening to music of watching a movie or something while you're in the air Hope I helped!
Kind ofIn the event of a fire, we are pretty much screwed if it is near us because we are 25 floors above groundThere are 2 sets of stairs on our floor, and my kids know where both areOnce you get to the 10th floor (I think), there is an outdoor fire escape on both sets of stairs tooWe have a balcony that I guess we could jump off of onto a trampoline, but I wouldn't want to!!! If we were jumping off the balcony, I do not know what we would do with the dogBut he can walk down stairs so that wouldn't be badLast year some moron left his gas on on the stove so the apartment had to evacuateI smelled it strongly in the hallway outside of his house (and I know he's crazy) so I got my kids to take the elevator downWe hung out at the park and then suddenly hoards of people were leaving the building because they had an announcement over the PA system announcing an evacuationApparently you are not supposed to take the elevator when you smell gasOops.
