My dog keeps peeing on a particular spot on a wool area rug in the dining room. Im sick of getting the thing cleaned and want to replace it. Any ideas on a floor covering that's not all soft and cushy and tempting for the dog to pee on? Is there a rubber-based rug or anything of the sort on the market?
This is an adult dog she's talking about not a puppy. I agree on removing the rug. I have three dogs who usually go outside to pee but occasionally will pee on my dining room area rug. I'm planning to remove the rug and go with the hardwood bare floor instead. They do go on pee pads too so unfortunately don't find much difference between a pad and a rug. I'm still looking for a rug they won't find attractive. They don't pee on my living room rug.
