Percent copper in brass?

So my teacher mixed the Brass in nitric acid. The brass was 1.46 g and she diluted the new solution to 100 mL. She got .242 absorbance.How do i calculate the copper? Please show work. Do I need additional equations? I'm trying to use beer's law but its not getting me anywhere.
