The word you're looking for is 'perform'. Amateur theatre groups are everywhere - community theatres, youth theatres, etc. As long as you've had a couple of years at a good acting school, you could get into one as a junior. All you have to do is go along and ask. I have no idea what you mean by 'back-up' - sorry!
