Question:

Play yard fence vs. Safety gate for a growing toddler (one year old)?

I have a one year old son who just loves to go and explore and get into things.. There are two entrances to our living room where is his main play place one is a standard door way and the other is 6 ft wide.. My question is.. What would be the best way to keep him in a general area.. A play yard gate/ activity center or a safety fence for just the doorways.. What has worked for you? I HAVE taught him boundaries.. But as a learning process.. It takes a while for him to learn he's curious as any baby.. I need a place to put him that is safe for when I have my hands full.. I can't carry him with me and do w.e I have to do.. (Use the restroom, cook, clean, wash clothes, etc) I also would like him to have his own area that he can feel his own..

Answer:

You could be bipolar, if this happens often I would see a doctor
I am quite sure that he cant put a duct tape sign on the hydrant. I would tear his sign down. I would leave a note on top of the sign (on the ground) that says you cant put an obstruction on a fire hydrant and don't worry about people parking in front of it. By law if a car is in front of it the firefighters will either smash the person's windows to get the hose to the hydrant OR push the car out of the way. They have the legal right to do that to any car illegally blocking a hydrant
Xanax is what my sister in-law takes along with Cymbalta. My husband is gonna go to a doctor for somewhat of the same reason but he's just got anxiety(xanax helps a lot).Depression or bi-polar medicine just makes him wanna diesuch as buspar, cerzone, lexapro was the last thing they tried him on and he wanted to die he said. They always tell him to take it for a couple of weeks until its in your system but he just gets worse. He says he's always worried and gets happy then down and xanax is the only thing that he had at one point in time and he felt NORMAL.Hope that helps you.
