Please tell me the pipe diameter: plastic pipe Phi 25, is it equal to DN20?

Answer:

DN for nominal diameter, the so-called nominal diameter is people's accustomed to the name, such as the outer diameter of 106 of the tube is DN100.
But the iron pipe and the PVC pipe still have the difference, for example, the iron tube generally refers to the inside diameter, the PVC tube generally refers to the outer diameter, therefore the DN20 iron tube and the PVC pipe iron pipe are much more thick than the PVC tube.
Phi 25 may be a DN20 iron tube (wall thickness 2.5mm), or a DN25 PVC tube.
