Silk is nice. It's cool to the skin however, it needs extra care when washing. Polyester is a bit hot for my taste and for the kind of weather we have here. So, I guess I have to go for the other kind of cloth that does not stick to the skin when the air is humid or hot and one that is also cool to the touch.
Cotton for daily wear, if that is what you meant by normal cloth. It's very comfortable to wear, breatheable and a good absorbent material. But nowadays, it's very rare to find 100% cotton. Cotton in the market are usually cotton-polyester blend. I also like silk, but it's more expensive. I dont like polyester.
