Donovan A good rebuilt transmission will cost you approximately over $2,500 and with today's technology its not cheap. Before I had to retire my last car which was nearly 33 years old the transmission which had to be rebuilt was nearly $1,200. Before you do anything you need to shop around for a reputable transmission rebuilder who has all the tools to properly diagnose it. Then decisde on a good price and make sure it has a 2 to 3 year gaurantee in the service contract. GOOD LUCK john
