Position, setting and height of lightning rod
(1) there should be no less than 5m distance between the independent lightning rod and the protected object, so as to avoid returning the lightning rod when it strikes the lightning rod. Independent lightning rod shall be provided with independent earthing device, and the distance between ground and grounding grid shall be no less than 3m.(2) the lightning rod shall not be installed on the frame and roof of the HV distribution equipment under 35KV and below. The lightning rod installed on the frame shall be connected with the grounding grid and equipped with a centralized grounding device.
If an illumination lamp is installed on an independent lightning rod or frame, the power cord must be made of lead skin cable or through the steel pipe and buried directly in the ground length of 10m.
No overhead lighting line, telephone line, broadcast line, antenna and so on are installed on the lightning rod or the frame.
The distance between the lightning rod and the grounding device shall be greater than 3m from the road and the exit. Otherwise, the crushed stone or asphalt surface shall be covered with 5~8cm thick to protect the person from the step voltage.
The lightning rod shall not be installed on the station type frame of the transformer.
