PP bottle cap and PE bottle cap difference
PP good heat resistance, can be more than 100 degrees of temperature sterilization, in the absence of external force, 150 degrees without deformation. Embrittlement temperature is -35 DEG C and embrittlement occurs at temperatures below -35.
PP plastic refers to polypropylene, a thermoplastic resin made by the polymerization of propylene. It is divided into three kinds of isotactic polypropylene, atactic polypropylene and syndiotactic polypropylene according to the arrangement of methyl groups.PE plastic refers to polyethylene as a thermoplastic resin made by polymerization of ethylene. Polyethylene odorless, non-toxic, feel waxy, with excellent low-temperature resistance, good chemical stability, resistance to the erosion of most acids and bases. At room temperature, insoluble in general solvents, low water absorption, good electrical insulation.
PE has low temperature resistance and low heat resistance. The brittleness temperature can reach below 50 degrees, and the lowest is 140 degrees celsius. Therefore, PP bottles are usually used in hot beverage bottles. PP lid size stability better; PE cheaper than PP, so must use PP outside, usually with PE.
