Go to a bookstore with pen and paperThen go to the children's fantasy books sectionYou could also go to your libraryAnd write down the publishers of those booksPublishers usually publish the same genreOnce you have the company's name and address, you need to do research and find out who is the acquisition editor at each companyOr you could take the literary agency routeFind out which ones represents children book authorsFor both publisher and literary agency, you are going to have to send them a query letter explaining to them your book idea and your qualificationsAlso since it's a children book, the art plays a major role in the whole processJust remember it's hyper, hyper, hyper competitive, and the book market is not so robust right nowAnyway, give it a try and see what happens.
