Last night on Smackdown, as Batista was beating on The Undertaker with that chair, Tod Grisham made the comment that we've never seen The Undertaker beaten like this before (or words to that effect). Yeah I know, announcers generally say things like this to build hype for an upcoming PPV match, but Grisham would have us believe that nobody ever had the guts before to repeatedly hit Taker with a chair.I know the Undertaker has been beaten down before by at least one chair attack that was worse than what Batista did. I won't name it because I want to hear from you. Does anybody remember that chair attack? Who was the perpetrator? And can you list any other times when Taker was beaten down by a repeated chair attack?
I'm not sure I remember this exact attack (may not of watched wrestling when it happened) but I've seen this all to often. Didn't Mark Henry kill the Undertaker or something? I think thats a little worse than a beating with a chair... The Undertaker has dided more than once, been buried alive, gone through hell in Hell in a Cell matches, fought the best in the business. He has been beaten again and again by the Big Show. I think a measly chair attack wouldn't be so bad. Finlay always is taking the biggest beating of his career. Many times he will get beten in a match and they will say we have never seen Finlay take a beating like this! When in fact we have, usually not long before. The same with the likes of Jamie Noble (although I dont think many people took a beating like he did against Sheamus) While I don't remember this particular incident I'm sure the commentary team has exaggerated these attacks again and again. It surely is not the worst he's had. I mean, hes died for goodness sakes!
i am not too sure about the names i will give, but i am pretty sure Edge beat down Undertaker with a chair attack last year when they were feuding. Brock Lesnar ''broke'' Undertakers arm back in 2002 with a chair,i think(might have been a pipe,i forget sorry) Mick foley did i think....when they were feuding back in the 90's (was only born back so i ain't sure)
Sounds good, i've predicted about the same thing but don't forget Cena tagging himself in by slapping Taker's shoulder a few weeks ago, which is what caused the tombstone you mentioned. The DeadMan doesn't typically take too well to that!
Well There is Brock Lesnar i think he has beaten Undertaker up with a Steel Chair.Because that was like a signature to Brock. I think Triple H did it once,on there feud during Wrestlemania 17. Rated RKO were owning Undertaker in the 2007 Royal Rumble with a Steel Chair too.Along with Shawn Michaels. Mark Henry at Smackdown before Edge Cashed in could be one of them.I dont remember if he used a chair though. The Unamericans beat up Taker with Chairs too in the past. I'm sure The Rock has done it too during the Attitude Era If it's not any of those then i'm wrong but nice question lol
