Question:

Quick Dry Fabrics/Shirts?

This winter I'll be going abroad for three weeks through Greece, Turkey, and EgyptI'll have no access to laundry machines, so I'll be washing everything with good ol' soap and water and hanging them out to dry.Due to the fact that I'll be on the move a lot I'm looking at purchasing some shirts (long or short sleeve) or light jackets and shorts/pants that are made from fabric that dries fairly quicklyI'm thinking something along the lines of Underarmour type fabricIf I had a few long sleeves in this type I could just wear a tank top underneath or something.Supposedly the weather is supposed to vary a long since we'll be exploring many regions and elevations, so I'd like to maximize my space by taking a few things that I can wash and reuse in a short amount of time. Thanks for the help and if anyone's got any info on any of these countries feel free to share!

Answer:

Out of the mouths of babesInteresting questionI believe it probably would at least retard the development of tarnish, but it may not prevent it completelyTarnish is a chemical reaction that takes place on the surface of different metals like, copper, silver, aluminum, etcSo, anything that would protect the surface, would likely reduce the tarnishing effect Inquisitive kidMaybe he'll be a chemist some day.
Actually it does whatever your skin is best atburning or tanningThe moisture helps your skin absorb more of the rays from the sunI also think that the fact that the wetness creates kind of a shine which reflects the rays out further on the skin, kind of like tanning oilJust remember to always use sunscreen though! I wear 30-50 and I still tan like crazy:)
