Question:

radio in truck died or wiring knocked out?

I bought a Dodge Dakota 4x4 the other day to use as a farm truck it didn't come with a standard radio but a sony Sony DRIVE-5I had a CD in it my daughter burned for me then I was driving to my crane yard to lend my battery charger to one of my employeesmy daughter pluged an ipod into the the radio it played for anout 10 seconds then I went over a dip and the radio went deadcouldn't even turn it on to get that CD outI checked the fuse and that was fine that's all I can do because i don't know electric wellI could probably take the radio out to check the back of it for a loose wire or somethingother then that I need to take it to my mechanic to get inspeted on tuesday so I'll just have them take a look at it any suggestions will be more then welcome.

Answer:

sounds like a plausible explanationEspecially if the head unit comes on like normal but there is absolutely no sound from the speakers.
If the statue is not going to be handled too much, you could use Liver of Sulfur, which should be available from a jewelry supply in your areaHere is a link to more detail about Liver of Sulfur.
Rather than add a paint or stain after the fact you could paint the statue a dark color beforehandThen when you burnish the leaf you will be able to see portions of the dark color showing through.
