so, the other day i went to take a left turn and lost control of my car(probably because i was going too fast) i under-steered and hit a fire hydrant. it came off but no water came out of it. (the fire department said it wasnt in working order or something) later after i move my car out of the road the police come and cite me for Reckless driving and Criminal damage. i have had my licence for about a year. my court date is in a month. should i get a lawyer? which offense is worse? am i screwed for life? please help
